To use the service, customers will simply need to download the Abra app and create an account. They can then use the app to scan a QR code at any participating 7-Eleven store. The cashier will then be able to convert the customer's cash into cryptocurrency at the current market rate.
Abra charges a fee of 1.5% for each transaction. However, this fee is waived for transactions that are over PHP 5,000.
