Greenidge Generation Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: GREE), a vertically integrated Bitcoin mining company, today announced record revenue of $135.9 million for the third quarter of 2022. The company also announced the appointment of Michael Moro as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Greenidge's revenue in Q3 was up 145% from the same period last year. The company's gross margin was 75%, up from 67% in Q3 2021. Greenidge's total Bitcoin production was 386.1 Bitcoin, up 12% from Q3 2021.
"We are pleased to report record revenue and gross margin in Q3," said Greenidge CEO Jeff Kirt. "We continue to execute on our growth strategy, and we are excited to welcome Michael Moro to the Greenidge team."
Moro brings more than 20 years of financial experience to Greenidge. He previously served as CFO of Bitstamp, a cryptocurrency exchange, and as CFO of Circle, a digital currency company.
Greenidge's stock price was up more than 10% in pre-market trading following the announcement of its Q3 results.
