ZKPass, a privacy-preserving blockchain authentication protocol, has raised $2.5 million in a seed round led by Binance Labs and Sequoia Capital. The round also included participation from Alameda Research, HashKey Capital, and Protocol Labs.
ZKPass uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify user identities without revealing their private data. This allows users to securely log in to websites and applications without having to share their personal information. The protocol is also designed to be interoperable with other blockchains, making it a potential solution for cross-chain authentication.
