**Toronto, Ontario – February 28, 2023** – Bitfarms Ltd. (“Bitfarms” or the “Company”) (TSXV: BITF), a leading Bitcoin mining company, today announced that it has closed a brokered private placement (the “Private Placement”) of 15,000,000 common shares of the Company (the “Shares”) at a price of $1.00 per Share for gross proceeds of $15 million.
The Private Placement was led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. (the “Lead Agent”) and included participation from Haywood Securities Inc., Cormark Securities Inc., and PI Financial Corp. (collectively, the “Agents”).
The net proceeds of the Private Placement will be used for general corporate purposes, including the purchase of additional mining equipment and working capital.
