**Toronto, Ontario – March 28, 2023** – Bitfarms Ltd. (“Bitfarms” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: BITF) (TSXV: BITF), a leading Bitcoin mining company, is pleased to announce that it has closed its second private placement of common shares in the amount of C$15 million (the “Second Private Placement”).
The Second Private Placement was oversubscribed by a significant margin and was priced at C$5.00 per common share, the same price as the Company’s recent C$100 million bought deal financing (the “Bought Deal Financing”). The Second Private Placement was led by Canaccord Genuity Corp. and included participation from existing Bitfarms shareholders and new investors.
The net proceeds from the Second Private Placement will be used for general corporate purposes, including the continued expansion of Bitfarms’ mining operations.
