**Mercedes-Benz X-Class discontinued due to gloomy sales**
Mercedes-Benz has discontinued the X-Class pickup truck, citing gloomy sales. The German automaker said it will stop production of the X-Class from May 2020.
The X-Class was launched in 2017 as a joint venture between Mercedes-Benz and Nissan. It was based on the Nissan Navara pickup truck, but it featured a number of Mercedes-Benz styling cues and features.
