Robertson's comments come after a report by Ernst & Young, the court-appointed monitor of QuadrigaCX, found that Cotten had secretly created at least 14 cryptocurrency wallets that held more than $100 million in digital assets.
The report also said that Cotten had transferred more than $46 million in crypto assets to his wife's personal accounts.
Robertson said that she did not know about the transfers and that she believed they were related to Cotten's business dealings.
"I thought they were for business," she said. "I didn't know they were personal."
Robertson said that she has been cooperating with investigators and that she is willing to testify before the court.
"I want to get to the bottom of this," she said. "I want to help the creditors."
The QuadrigaCX scandal has been a major blow to the Canadian cryptocurrency industry. The exchange, which was once one of the largest in the country, collapsed in 2019 after Cotten died suddenly in India.
The collapse left thousands of investors without access to their funds. The Ontario Securities Commission is currently investigating the matter.
