## Instructions to configure proxy on Eclipse IDE software
**1. Open the Eclipse IDE.**
2. Click on the **Window** menu and select **Preferences**.
3. In the **Preferences** window, expand the **General** category and select **Network Connections**.
4. Click on the **Add** button and select **Proxy**.
5. In the **Proxy** dialog box, enter the following information:
* **Name:** Enter a name for the proxy.
* **Host:** Enter the IP address or hostname of the proxy server.
* **Port:** Enter the port number of the proxy server.
* **User Name:** Enter the username if the proxy server requires authentication.
* **Password:** Enter the password if the proxy server requires authentication.
6. Click on the **OK** button to save your changes.
**7. Restart Eclipse IDE.**
Once you have restarted Eclipse IDE, the proxy settings will be applied. You can now access the internet through the proxy server.
