In his new role, Brown will work with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to advocate for policies that support the growth of the digital economy. He will also lead Circle's efforts to shape the regulatory environment for cryptocurrencies and other digital assets.
Brown brings a wealth of experience to Circle. He has held a number of senior policy positions in the U.S. government, including as Senior Counsel for Fintech at the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Financial Services. In this role, he advised Members of Congress on a wide range of fintech issues, including cryptocurrency regulation, blockchain technology, and digital payments.
Brown also served as a Special Assistant to the Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade. In this role, he worked on trade policy issues related to digital trade, e-commerce, and intellectual property.
