Văn phòng Thống kê Chung (GSO) của Việt Nam đã công bố dữ liệu mới nhất về dân số, lực lượng lao động và việc làm của đất nước.Dữ liệu cho thấy dân số của Việt Nam đạt 98,9 triệu vào năm 2021, tăng 1,1% so với năm trước.Lực lượng lao động tổng cộng 55,3 triệu, tăng 1,2%.Tỷ lệ thất nghiệp là 2,2%, không thay đổi từ năm 2020.
Dân số của Việt Nam dự kiến sẽ đạt 101,6 triệu vào năm 2025 và 105,2 triệu vào năm 2030. Lực lượng lao động dự kiến sẽ tăng lên 59,1 triệu vào năm 2025 và 63,1 triệu vào năm 2030. Tỷ lệ thất nghiệp dự kiến sẽ duy trì ở mức khoảng 2%.
Dữ liệu cũng cho thấy tỷ lệ dân số trong độ tuổi lao động (15-64 tuổi) tại Việt Nam đã tăng từ 68,5% trong năm 2010 lên 70,3% vào năm 2021. Tỷ lệ dân số từ 65 tuổi trở lên đã tăng từ 8,3% lên9,1% trong cùng thời kỳ.
Tỷ lệ tham gia lực lượng lao động nam là 76,1% vào năm 2021, trong khi tỷ lệ tham gia lực lượng lao động nữ là 64,1%.Tỷ lệ thất nghiệp của nam giới là 1,9%, trong khi tỷ lệ thất nghiệp của nữ là 2,5%.
Phần lớn lực lượng lao động tại Việt Nam được sử dụng trong lĩnh vực nông nghiệp (41,1%).Ngành sản xuất sử dụng 27,1% lực lượng lao động, trong khi lĩnh vực dịch vụ sử dụng 31,8%.
Thu nhập trung bình hàng tháng của một công nhân Việt Nam là 6,4 triệu người (278 đô la Mỹ) vào năm 2021. Thu nhập trung bình hàng tháng của một công nhân nam là 7,1 triệu, trong khi thu nhập trung bình hàng tháng của một nữ công nhân là 5,7 triệu.
