Toyota Việt Nam đã tuyên bố thu hồi 32.527 xe do lỗi trong hệ thống bơm xăng có thể khiến động cơ bị đình trệ với tốc độ cao, có khả năng dẫn đến sự cố.
Việc thu hồi ảnh hưởng đến các mô hình sau:
* Toyota Vios
* Toyota Yaris
* Toyota Innova
* Toyota Fortuner
* Toyota Hilux
Các phương tiện bị ảnh hưởng được sản xuất từ tháng 1 năm 2019 đến tháng 7 năm 2022.
Vấn đề là do rơle bơm nhiên liệu bị lỗi có thể quá nóng và khiến bơm nhiên liệu ngừng hoạt động.Điều này có thể dẫn đến việc đình trệ động cơ, có thể nguy hiểm nếu nó xảy ra ở tốc độ cao.
Toyota Việt Nam đang tư vấn cho chủ sở hữu các phương tiện bị ảnh hưởng để mang xe của họ đến một đại lý Toyota để sửa chữa miễn phí.Việc sửa chữa sẽ liên quan đến việc thay thế rơle bơm nhiên liệu.
Công ty nói rằng nó không nhận thức được bất kỳ tai nạn nào do vấn đề gây ra.

Toyota Vietnam has announced a recall of 32,527 vehicles due to an error in the gasoline pump system that could cause the engine to stall at high speed, potentially leading to a crash.
The recall affects the following models:

The affected vehicles were produced between January 2019 and July 2022.
The problem is caused by a faulty fuel pump relay that can overheat and cause the fuel pump to stop working. This can lead to the engine stalling, which can be dangerous if it happens at high speed.
Toyota Vietnam is advising owners of affected vehicles to bring their vehicles to a Toyota dealer for a free repair. The repair will involve replacing the fuel pump relay.
The company said that it is not aware of any accidents caused by the problem.
